One of the main reasons for constructing cinema is creating an entertaining yet deep and informative space. It is a space that reflects and thinking after watching a movie (which indicates the perspective and idea of the filmmaker on a particular subject(s)) while enjoying it and watching the movie with the crowd and having a share in others’ feelings. In some cases, it can result in fundamental transformations in the audience’s attitude or lifestyle. However, in my opinion, cinema can be a place, in which one can put together a part of the society so that everyone can share the movie's impression on them with others. It is what happens for everyone, and they like to express their opinion after watching a movie in few sentences depending on the impression of the movie on them. According to these deductions, it can be concluded that cinema is an urban area, not an urban space. It is a place created by the social behavior of the human in the city. The social exchange happens in the urban area. Furthermore, cinema is a spatial multiplex in which we are free to decide what movie to watch, meet in its lobby, sit with friends in which café, and chat about the movie and its impression on us after watching the movie. Moreover, in my opinion, cinema must be designed in a way to take the audience out of the outside world for some hours and entertain the audience with the incidents within it. It would never happen in the past cinemas where we bought the ticket from a hole in the ticket office and waited on foot in its humble lobby for the theater to be opened. According to the abovementioned, I believe that the physical spaces of a cinema complex must be appealing for the audience the same as the theater and fill the leisure time for them, and provide interaction and conversation for people.

Therefore, the following concepts must be considered in designing a cinema:
Legibility: The building must be designed to be visible and recognizable from all the surrounding access and arterial routes of the site, particularly at night.Ambiguity: The building must be designed to motivate the audience to travel and experience being in the space and generate memories for the people over time so that it could become a hangout. It must include numerous covered and open spaces in which the audience can share their feelings with others, and it must provide the possibility for dating and socialization with others. Its spaces must be central, cozy, and friendly. The spaces must be designed in a way that people can gather in a circular way, not in a linear way, resulting in creating more sense of belonging in the audience. The cinema complex mustn’t end with the end of the movie. Instead, the end of the movie must be the beginning of becoming familiar with a new idea and discussing it with others. The building designer has 50%, and the film director has a 50% share in making this possible, because the quality of the film is directly related to the motivation and impression of the audience. (Here we refer to one of the aspects of cinema and architecture: both should seek beauty.)The nature of cinema and movies is dynamicity and mobility. The concepts used in designing a cinema and its building must embrace dynamicity and mobility in the form, functions, and in meeting the needs of society.
